Rainbow Clothes Managing Director Bandula Fernando was elected as President of the Sri Lanka Chamber of Garment Exporters (SLCGE), on the twenty sixth Annual Normal Assembly (AGM) held on January 20, at Union Ballroom, Hilton Colombo Residencies, Colombo 2.

Industries Minister Wimal Weerawansa was the chief visitor on the AGM whereas Brandix Lanka Restricted Group Chief Government Officer Ashroff Omar graced the event because the visitor of honour.

Hemantha Perera was elected as Normal Secretary of the chamber whereas Rantha Tissera was elected as the brand new Treasurer.
It was additionally revealed that Nishantha Bakmeege is the brand new Vice President whereas Rumesh Perera was elected as Assistant Normal Secretary. The brand new Assistant Treasurer is Menuka Gunawardana.
